there is no such thing. They are either Aliens or Immigrants. There is no such thing as a temporary stay alien.


I have several co-workers here on Work Visas (legal to work here, pay taxes, have social security numbers, etc) they've all had children. By US law, their children are citizens by birth. They do not have to naturalize.

There are only two types of citizens. Citizen by birth (natural born) or through naturalization (those who were not born in the US, or had any US Citizen parent)
