Here's a great idea, folks. Perhaps Christianity should stop preaching intolerance towards homosexuals. As a result, such situations would arise less frequently.
Public schools inherently must teach acceptance and tolerance of all. Any other way would disrupt the learning process.
What's so hard to understand about this?
Including Christians?
Thanks for the clarification!
No, but really, public school are there to teach academics.
Parents are there to teach values.
Period.

How much more tolerant can the Catholic church be? ****, they cover for them.

If you want your children to be taught fire and brimstone and gay is bad, send your kids to a private school.
Wrong, wrong, WRONG. Public schools should teach academics. Period. Leave the rest to the parents. It's not any teacher's place to inflict their own political views on their students. And make no mistake - the gay issue is a political one.
Actually there is a connection beween Germany, Religion and homosexuality.
The current Pope is German.
LOL. If not for the second sentence, I would have assumed this German connection...
"Today Christians stand at the head of this country. I pledge that I never will tie myself to parties who want to destroy Christianity. We want to fill our culture again with the Christian spirit. We want to burn out all the recent immoral developments in literature, in the theater, and in the press - in short, we want to burn out the poison of immorality which has entered into our whole life and culture as a result of liberal excess during the past few years."

Hence, preaching of Christianity and their beliefs about others on those grounds should be barred.

The Pope's brother is a piece of work is was the director of a boy's choir that was in the news because the boys complained of physical as well as sexual abuse and Ratzinger was implicated in the cover up.
The overwhelming majority of child abusers are married, heterosexual, religious men. But don't let facts keep you from pulling the gays = child molester card.

Teach my kids academics, I will teach them morals, religion, sex, values, beliefs, etc. Keep ya'lls 'morals' and 'beliefs' to yourselves.
Our country's 'academic expertise' or lack thereof is failing. Teach academics, leave life to the parents.

.
Why, you guys don't? You keep pushing your morals and beliefs through secular laws. And apparently those who claim to have the strongest morals/religious views, are the worst at parenting children.
