That must be why Tornado Alley from the Dakotas down to Northern Texas through Kansas and Oklahoma is one of the most conservative and less gay-tolerant regions of the country, while California and Massachusetts don't worry about tornadoes at all. God must have a sense of irony.
Was this woman right in making the statement? Is every tornado a judgment from God? Not likely. But can you prove that it isn't?
You tell me....do you not find it the slightest bit coincidental that a tornado hit the building when the ELCA took the vote to ordain gay clergy?
It's self-evident to people who don't value logic and evidence, yes. But the concept of God exists in the unprovable realm, just like unicorns. You can't prove it, and it is no more self-evident than Santa squeezing his fat *ss down my chimney each Christmas Eve.
No, I don't find it coincidental in the least. Unless you find it coincidental that the worst tornado outbreaks of 2011 occurred in the so-called Bible Belt of the South. Why not Massachusetts or Iowa or DC, all of which allow gay marriage? Why not San Francisco, the leading gay city in the nation. Why do you think God chose to kill hundreds of people and destroy thousands of buildings in the heart of the most God-fearing parts of the United States? Coincidence?? Please.
