He's definitely very, very middle. I do have some issues with him and can't necessarily tell where Obama's policies end and Romney's begin on some thin gs. But, if he were to win the GOP nomination, I would gladly vote for him over Obama. While he's only slightly more to the right of middle, he can't be worse than Obama, I can't imagine anyone could be. Well, except Bachmann, because she's almost like Obama in some ways, but his exact mirror.

Bachmann is like Obama in that they are both delusional.

Pure and blind partisan support is not beneficial to anyone and will only serve to continually put people in office that are there simply because of their party affliation and not because of their own qualifications and experience.
All you have to do is look at the op's posting history - which will tell you his claim of lurching toward conservatism/libertarian is nonsense.

I'm aware of the posting and if someone can see that there might be a better way, I think we should welcome instead of shun.

I'm thinking the "better way" is not at all serious - more of a phoney role switching.

Yes, this is totally a conspiracy and I'm... what the hell are you talking about?

This is just some forum for political junkies and I'm just saying what I'm thinking these days. From what I've been reading and hearing, Johnson seems to have the best ideas and actually has a good record at doing what he says. I would gladly vote for Johnson, Paul, Romney, or Huntsman over Obama.

Of the traditionally Dem voters I know, I'm hearing the same thing. Tell you the truth, some of them surprised the heck out of me with this thought. One thing is for sure, something's gotta change.
