I think you analysis is correct. Republicans are stuck in ideological thinking that prevents them from understanding incontrovertible science, and leads them to keep obsessively repeating bebunked lies that happen to conform with their bias.
IMO, Republican "thinking" is an oxymoron as well as a social disease leading to mental illness that prevents rational thinking.

Anyone who understands science and supports critical thinking would laud and encourage questioning of a theory. Any good theory will hold up to intense scrutiny and would be welcome. In the cult of global warming, however, any questioning of the theory is derided and ardently opposed. This is the antithesis of science.

Tell that to the 13 Million glowing residents of Tokyo, as Fukushima continues to spew deadly levels of radiation. Yes .... it's an ONGOING disaster .... it's not over just because the news isn't talking about it.

You are succumbing to your own objections. The theory, the science, the observations HAVE been intensely scrutinized and validated. Your cult of denial flies in the face of fact, and if you could think without being told WHAT to think, you might see that.
Thanks for pointing out my typo. I'm delighted that you are sufficiently literate that you could recognize it. Since that's all you could come up with, it's obvious that your ability to think for yourself and present a cogent argument is null and void, as is your ideology - or is that idiotology?
Of course they haven't been validated. Expert scientists such as Rick Perry have told us that global warming is a farce. Who wouldn't believe such an expert?
