Canada is light years ahead of the USA in social reforms and if you were to search the entire country I doubt you would find one single socialist who's opinion counted as anything in the political talk of the day. No one cares what .000001% of the people say. In the USA I think there is even less socialists than there is here.
Here is a Tea baggers definition of a socialist. Anyone who supports any kind of social reform of any type at any time anywhere.
Anyone who believes that growing class disparity is a bad thing.
Anyone who believes that there are better ways to do things as is shown by the successful programmes in other countries.
Anyone who thinks that along with wealth comes responsibilities to your country and fellow citizens.
Anyone who thinks that in a democracy it's the people who should rule and not the special interests.
