I find it sad that people screw up kids so badly with made-up disorders. What 7 year old hasn't at some point questioned their gender? That's part of growing up. That's part of why a kid has a mommy and a daddy. At least in a normal home, they do.
But heck...at least Amy and Amy can have a happy "marriage" and equal rights!!!!!
Actually very few children would question their gender. Gender identity is entrenched before birth.
But children with GID don't 'question' their gender- they believe they are of the opposite gender.

Hormone blocking treatment - to delay puberty until 14 or 15. The 'kid' has gender identity disorder. It's the best possible course of action for the parents to take.
In your opinion. To other rational thinkers, some mental help may be in order. As I see it, to do this and block the bodies natural growth pattern is simply a form of abuse.

The common theme in all of these types of debates always degenerates to claims of bigotry and homophobia by the same usual suspects. And the position ALWAYS taken demonstrates that NOTHING is too insane to be rationalized. Every position taken considers one rule of measure only ... and "homosexual politics" is that ruler.
But there is nothing at all "rational" about pharmacological tinkering with a child's physical and psychological development, nor is it remotely associated with bigotry to object to such experimentation, unless the charge is "Stupaphobia", then I would be forced to plead guilty!

You don't find it the slightest bit interesting that the kid is being raised by 2 women that are apparently a bit confused of their own sexuality too? You don't think that had ANYTHING to do with it?
A: Sexuality has nothing to do with GID.
B: Parentage and environment has nothing to do with GID.
