The only ignorance I see is in a person putting any significant amount of stock in an insanely small sample size to draw a conclusion from.

Until the vast majority of gay/lesbian parents start trying to do this, you have no case against gay marriage and you know it.
It would be safe to assume that this lesbian couple have a bias and probably hate males. I know lesbians that like males...and I have seen lesbians who wish all males were dead. I wonder if this child was born a girl would the parents partake in the switch to male? I doubt it.
