This is ridiculous. Have no problem with gays serving openly in the military, but this is going too damn far.

Care to explain why? The military is a secular institution. Marriage is a secular institution. I don't see the issue.

If the military didn't already perform marriages, and this came around, I would agree with you. But since they do, equality must be upheld.
