If the tea party doesn't exist, then no harm no foul. No reason to defend them, they don't exist right.

Great deflection by the way. Avoids the subject, sleight of the hand as magicians say.

I'm not deflecting whatsoever. Dold is in the article as the leader of the Tea Party. When did he become the leader ?

That's not deflection. Somehow turning the article to blame Obama would be deflection.

Learn the meaning of the words you use.

I am unhappy that my money went to an unnecessary project . Tea Party or not , the only thing worse than more trains is money going for a prettier place to park the trains .

Might want to educate yourself on the "Tea Party".

Tea Party in Congress: Michele Bachmann, Jim DeMint Claim Mantle of 'Leader-less' Movement - ABC News
The Tea Party movement prides itself on being a leader-less amalgam of grassroots groups, fervently supportive of the Constitution, smaller government, lower taxes and spending cuts. Organizers say it's the ideals, not individual luminaries that give the movement its name.

.
There is a difference between being a tea party leader, and "the" leader.

You know there can be multiple leaders within a movement.

If you don't consider an elected member of congress to be a leader, what the hell is?

He's a Republican if you didn't notice the R after his name.
The Tea Party is a leader-less party. Your thread title is incorrect.
