It is degrading to the black race. I see nothing funny about it at all. It is a disgrace. Who thinks of this sick stuff anyway or who would even watch it? If anything could be dividing of the races it is this garbage. Who wrote this stuff? They are sick , sick , sick!! And it is also very insulting to the white people. I don't see anything funny just sick! The blacks should stand up against this stuff. Why should they take this degrading stuff anyway.. so racist it is gross.
I have a question for the White people that watch Boondocks: how do you feel laughing at Black people making fun of flaws in the Black community? Black people see the show as social commentary & satire b/c we understand the subject matter they're satirizing. Do White people see the show the same way or is it just comedy about eccentric Black personalities or something else?
I'm not saying you should or shouldn't find it funny, but the content is pretty unique to a Black culture & commentary that most White people don't have too much contact with.
I laugh at it because it does say things about white people AND black people that need to be said, except it comes from the points of view of a crotchety old man, two kids, and their hilariously racist friend. Which makes it even more funny. I get the satire, I get what it's about as a social commentary, sure- but it's something that sits in my subconscious when I watch the show... mostly I just watch it because it's awesome and needs new episodes.

Like I said in my first post in this thread, it's won several awards from the NAACP. Clearly you haven't watched it, or have only watched the linked parts that people have left here (most of which are meant to be intentionally offensive), but still... I think you'd have to watch it to get it, and you clearly won't, so why comment?
I wonder if the character Uncle Ruckus was based on Herman Cain or Clarence Thomas.
If you really think Uncle Ruckus is Herman Cain you got problems with reality. No wonder the black race has such baggage with such a way to depict a person as if it is the truth.. you are wrong . The person who wrote this drivel is not speaking the truth. Anyone who thinks this is the truth has no truth in him. His thinking is so off base it is feeding on hate . This is the problem with people .. they accept anything as truth. And it is even worse to accept it as funny. Nothing funny. If someone really believes there that Uncle Ruckus is truth , they have deep seated problems with reality.
I am offended by how whites are put down as well. As if white people are poison. It is sick!!! How skin color became the main point of it all. Feeding on garbage and not even knowing it is garbage is disturbing .. I read how everyone thinks it is funny. Is it really!!????

Yeah, right.. and black people in reality are calling Herman Cain an Uncle Ruckus.. look at the message , maybe you will understand what it actually does to the thinking of black people.. they don't think it is satire.. they say it is the truth.. I read enough about Uncle Ruckus to know the message.

Uncle Ruckus is Herman Cain if he made a few bad choices in life.
Herman Cain is married to a Black woman, so he is nothing like Uncle Ruckus. There is being a conservative Black man, and then there is Uncle Ruckus, who is outright a self-hating Black man.
