It's good to remember in this thread that men very rarely see themselves as they truly are...big-gutted, ill-dressed, unkempt, slobs....but they have NO qualms about making comments on women...it makes them feel like they are actually something worth a second glance......
Women think they look worse than they actually do, while men think they look better than they actually do. And then you see a picture of yourself and then reality sets in. <== speaking for myself. LOL

Is it that some people are just so full of hate for the Obamas, they'll say anything to disparage them, even if it's not true?
I think she is reasonablly attractive and nice enough, at least when she wants to be. No doubt she is well educated and eloquent.

The Obamas strike me as a nice family.

AMEN!

Most men don't do jack squat for their appearance but they run their mouths passing judgment on any female who doesn't look like a Victoria's Secret model.

Didn't someone once say that 75 % of guys consider themselves to be better looking than average?

Gotta love those male egos!

The post I quoted above yours is proof positive of the male ego.

And I don't think she's ugly.

There are a lot of people railing about how huge and fat she is, and I'm just pointing out that some taller women will ALWAYS look large because of their height. I was called fat when I was 130 lbs... And I'm 6'1! I wasn't lucky enough to be born with Heidi Klum's bone structure...

I suppose it just affects me differently because there are young girls out there like me who are being bullied over their 'size' and we finally have a role model. Then, there are grown 'adults' who pick her apart on nothing more than looks. Do you have any idea how that can affect a 15 year old girl?

You see a lot of criticisms about Michelle Obama's looks because it's a backlash against the incessant praising of her looks by the Obamunist faithful. Some act like she's one of the most gorgeous women in America, worthy of winning beauty contests. If you and others want to constantly prod others for their opinions about her looks, then don't get upset when you receive the truth.

Who told you that you had any taste?
They lied.
