So then can you explain why the Tea Party is called racist for being mostly white?

This may sound bad, but this is just speculation. But I feel that if most of the occupiers were black, they wouldn't be taken as seriously. Because it is mostly white people, it seems more "serious" because it's affecting "more" people because white is the majority.

The tea party isn't called racist for being mostly white, they were called racist for having racist signs at their protests and some of the members displaying racist sentiments.

They were called racist because of what a lot of their loud-spoken people were yelling and the signs they were holding that had racist comments on it.

Interesting thought. I can agree that if the protest was majority black it would be laughed off even more than it is now.
