Kinda like how EPA mandated emissions controls were going to kill the car industry. Oddly enough, after the hysterics died down, we were left with cars that are better, and cleaner than ever.

Solar and wind are in now way a baseload type of power, coal is. Solar and wind can fall off to ZERO due to weather conditions, and then you have no electricity at all.
