Perhaps he/she is a racist? To say that your statement was racist is pretty racist in itself IMO.

I believe in freedom just don't take my money for your own freedom.

You are free to be poor. You are free to have as many kids as you want.
Just don't expect to take my money. If I want to donate to charity that is up to me.

Your choises are your choices why do I have to support the poor choices of the poor.

So does it sound like I am right wing.

I am not even a religous person. I have voted for both Dem and Repub and even for Ross Perot. Can you same the same I doubt it. You are a lefty liberal fool and has a close mind.

I WIN please comback to play again
Considering you just made the assumption i am a liberal, who is the one with the closed mind .

Half the population is on welfare? I didn't say that. Besides a lot of Americans do suffer from undiagnosed mental disorders like depression and addiction etc. Just take a look around you or for that matter take a look in the mirror, what secrets are you hiding?

I did not say insane, there is a difference between being insane and being depressed or bipolar. And a large amount of welfare recipients are mentally incapable of functioning like an average citizen.

Such an inspiring story. My mom was also a welfare success even though she did not become a millionaire. She was on welfare for 3 years and eventually went back to school, got an early childcare degree and opened her own daycare. She even employs 5 people.

I have known quite a few women who have come off of welfare, even back in the 80s when there were no limits, and used that assistance for what it was, a hand up in life, and became self sufficient.

I hope more people will realize that the majority of people who use welfare are not people who want to remain on it forever or who have kids to stay on it. Welfare is not a lot of money and there is still a stigma associated with receiving benefits that most people do not want on their shoulders.

Also many don't know that most welfare recipients get off of welfare within two years.

You sound like a perscription drug commercial (aka drug dealer). Many people on welfare also have medicaid and would have no issues getting medicated for their so-called depression and other mental issues.

I would need to see a source as well. I don't believe that a large percentage of those on welfare are mentally ill. I do believe that a large amount of people receiving SSDI are mentally ill and a large percentage of the homeless are mentally ill (because this has been documented). But not welfare. If that was the case most welfare recipients wouldn't leave the program within 2 years.

Great story! Although not all welfare recipients are worthless losers as you say. Some are, but many are down on their luck and don't know what to do next. Is calling them lazy going to get them off welfare any sooner?
