Now if most people on welfare were like this, I would actually support it. As we know, most of them are worthless losers who leach off of all of us working people.

yup yup. For every one woman like this, there are probably 10,000 who are glued to the couch 24/7 watching reality television and eating Swanson Frozen Dinners and Dr. Pepper.
You obviously have different moral values than me so this argument is pointless. Have a nice day.

Would she have been able to do this if she hadn't owned her home? Specifically, how would she have been able to expand the business into her garage if she hadn't had one?
I'm trying to make a living out of a single room, and I can't expand beyond what I can store in that space.
Depends on the business you decide to start. My b/f and I started a business out of one of our bedrooms in our rented house. My two teen sons had to share a small bedroom for 3 years. Now we've moved into an actual office and the boys have their own rooms.
The business we started we only needed our computers and phones. We've been growing leaps and bounds, in THIS economy, for three years already and are continuing to grow. No, it wasn't easy at first, and we had to live on beans and rice for a long time. But now, we're doing well for ourselves and will continue to do better as we grow. Hopefully soon, we'll be able to hire someone even!
