The Nobel Peace prize has been announced in Oslo, Norway.

The award is divided between Ellen Johnson Sirlea, Leymah Gbowee and Tawakkul Karma.

The Nobel Peace Prize 2011:

The Nobel Peace Prize 2011 was awarded jointly to Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Leymah Gbowee and Tawakkul Karman "for their non-violent struggle for the safety of women and for women’s rights to full participation in peace-building work".

Frankly, having been awarded to people like Obama or Arafat, the peace prize has lost a lot of its meaning.

I used to always make a point of reading-up on the accomplishments of someone when it was announced that they'd won the Nobel.
But ever since Obama was aburdly awarded it a couple years ago, that prize has lost most of its credibility and honor with this writer.
I didn't even click on your link about the winner. See?
