Reagan is currently a RINO. Republicans won't say it because it's practically a sin to say so, but that's what they really think. I'm no conservative, but I actually miss Reagan because of stuff like this.

Reagan (while no where near the perfect politician) had more common sense then the whole group of people masquerading as republicans currently seeking the highest office.

He sure wouldn't fit in nowadays.

He signed the largest peacetime tax increase in American history (TEFRA, 1982) as well as the largest amnesty in American hsitory (IRCA, 1986).

Nowadays he'd be denounced as a Marxist, and they'd probably insist his birth certificate was fake, and he was really born in Ireland...

They really have that so backward.
The social conservatives and economic fascists are the RINO's.

The sooner the real R's kick them to the curb the sooner we can get our country back.

Reagan was a rino, he was more Libertarian that he ever was a conservative. but Libertarians do not get elected, if they did there would not be a republican or democrat party today.

He also tripled the deficit.

and in order to change his inflation numbers he removed the things that are countered towards it...like gas. Don't know about anyone else I feel inflation at the pump more than anywhere else. It made everyone think his numbers were better than Jimmy Carter. We weren't better off 8 years after reagan....

He increased the deficit to break Russia. He knew if they engaged in an 'arms race' with Russia that they would go far enough to push their economy off a cliff.

I for one miss the good old days of the Cold War

1.kept US on our toes [we have become soft and lazy]

2.mandatory military service [get these young babymakin' slugs off the streets and the taxpayers payroll]

3.having the threat of nuclear annihilation at anytime [priceless... we perform better under extreme pressure]

Obama couldn't hold the GIPPERS jock strap in foreign affairs, economic stimulus or playing with others
