Don't you think you would spend a minute and find out if the very example you use in a national speech on jobs, is actually employed or not?

As for stating he had a "chance" of meeting the teacher, he technically did not lie. He used some Clinton lingo. Sure he deceived the public, and for that there is no excuse.

Intentionally misleading is by no measure any better.
Actually illustrates the planning involved in which to do so.

And apparently he's right. Most Americans hear it and believe it.
Few follow up on anything he says. Few question him.

Newspaper readership has plunged. It's all TV now...

BOSTON (CBS) – President Obama used the story of a Boston teacher to push his jobs bill Thursday, even though the teacher has a job.

At the beginning of his White House news conference, President Obama told a story of how he recently met Robert Baroz of Wellesley, an English teacher in the city.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Lana Jones reports.

WBZ-TV’s Jack Williams reports

“I had a chance to meet a young man named Robert Baroz. He’s an English teacher in Boston who came to the White House a few weeks ago. He’s got two decades of teaching experience. He’s got a Master’s Degree. He’s got an outstanding track record of helping his students make huge gains in reading and writing,” the president said.

“In the last few years, he’s received three pink slips because of budget cuts. Why wouldn’t we want to pass a bill that puts somebody like Robert back in the classroom teaching our kids?”

Someone like you, isn't you.
It is someone who is like you.
Somebody like Robert, isn't Robert.

Just another anti-obama FICTITIOUS whine from the usual crowd.

The teacher himself says he hasn't lost his job and has not met Obama and you still refuse to believe that Obama could have lied to get support for his jobs bill.

The propaganda machine is winning folks.

Obama lied about Teacher during his jobs bill speech. Teacher "has" a JOB!!!! And he never met with him!

And this shocks you why? The man is a professional liar and has done nothing but lie throughout his entire term. It has worked for him (in his opinion) so far so why change?
