Look at the research. It is very dubious. The researcher made the leap that because porn was purchased in states that go Republican on election day, the purchasers of porn are conservative.
1) You don't identify yourself as conservative or liberal when you vote or register to vote. In some states (like mine), you don't even identify yourself as Republican or Democrat when you register to vote.
2) Neither red states nor blue states have just one kind of of voter. Let's say there are 10 million people in State X and the state went for Bush (55/45) and McCain (52/48) making it a red state. Who is to say the porn consumers aren't from the 45 percent and 48 percent minorities?
Cons who doubt that they are the biggest consumers of porn need to go to a blue state sometime. I have never seen a huge porn superstore with a billboard pointing to it for all to see. I have seen them in pretty much every red state. Why do cons need to put their taste for porn on display like that? And why is resistliberalism trying to get this going online?

Homosexuality and Bisexuality is as prevelent in Conservative/Republicans and even in Extremely Religious GOP Republicans; as it is in any other demographic. They loudly and viciously speak out against homosexuality/bisexuality, but behind closed doors.......they're quite active in same gender sexuality.
As infidelity/sexuallly-based relationships with someone other than their spouse.
To claim otherwise is laughable and highly inaccurate.
The one main thing that GOPers/Republicans/Religious people are extremely prolific at, are hypocrisy and double standards.
As for the porn, that's no big surprise. Every GOP/Republican I know now and have ever known; is either a loud and proud participant of porn (and sex toys, kinky sex); or a closeted participant who thinks he/she is hiding it well from society. These are the people you find trolling sexually-based dating sites, phone sex services and getting inviolved with orgie/group sex groups. And there's nothing wrong with that, as long as they're not hurting anyone. I don't have a problem with people being sexual beings. It's human nature to be sexual and to enjoy our sexuality, regardless of orientation.
But when they are the loudest mouths and biggest advocates and participants in perpetrating hate, bigotry, laws and policies that discriminate, oppress and demonize homosexuals and people of other sexual interests; they expose themselves as the evil, vicious hypocrites they truely are.
What a stupid way to come to a conclusion that conservatives are the biggest porn users... there are liberals and conservatives in each state.. this tells me nothing..
