I don't think a lot of people have been to more than one, really. Like today there were some people at Occupy Philadelphia who said they had come from Occupy Wall Street, but New York and Philly are so close that you probably won't see a lot of that. Obviously New York is the largest, but if Occupy Portland is almost as big as Occupy Wall Street, it's definitely the most vibrant (besides NYC?).
Charlotte: I don't know the numbers, but hundreds (600+ in the initial demonstration) in Charlotte, and it's evolved into a multi-day sit-in/camp-out there, ongoing for days. The aerial news photos of the Charlotte demonstration on Friday (in front of Bank of America's HQ) were impressive. I was surprised to see that kind of turnout there; several of the protesters interviewed were actually from smaller, more rural towns (and suburbs), down into upstate SC.
Raleigh: The demos in Raleigh have been smaller, but there have been several separate demonstrations. The Raleigh demos seem to be more students and working-class people - who have jobs or class during the week, so instead of a running demonstration that goes through the week, it's crowds (lower hundreds) that have gathered in front of the General Assembly for three consecutive weekends, with another planned next weekend.
Asheville: The demonstrations there have only drawn about 100-150 people at a time, but they have been running for more than a week now.
Wilmington, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Durham: About 100 people; the W-S demonstration was slightly lower in numbers.
Elsewhere in North Carolina, there have smaller been "Occupy" demonstrations in Chapel Hill, Greenville, and Fayetteville.
Charlotte and Raleigh, and probably Asheville are looking (so far) like the most substantial and tenacious of the North Carolina "Occupy" gatherings.
....i would assume nyc would have the most vibrant "occupy" scene....
