He is more qualified for the Senate and to run for President, than this fraud we have dictating to us now.

Kenyan-born Obama all set for 2004 US Senate

Sunday, June 27, 2004

Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

The allegations that horrified fellow Republicans and caused his once-promising candidacy to implode in four short days have given Obama a clear lead as Republicans struggled to fetch an alternative.

Don't give him attention, he's not going to win anything. It will be great material for The Daily Show, though. I can't wait.

He's only trying to follow in the footsteps of Sarah Palin.

Get his 15 minutes of fame, be a paid commentator for Faux, get someone to ghost write a book for him. Maybe that will get him out of debt.

No not quite.

Palin has experience as a leader. Remember she was Alaska's Governor, leaving the State with more in it's coffers than when she was elected.

Plumber Joe, is going straight for lobbyist food.

Barack Obama's books were ghost written by Bill Ayers.

I think it good that 'ordinary' working people run for public office. Step one is getting some type of name recognition, which Joe has done.

Recall, however, that many serving in public office, whether state or federal level, started out as 'ordinary' people. Yet, once in office, power starts its corruption.

Zoom forward twenty years: if Mr. Plumber is still in office, the younger generation will probably wonder "why did they elect this guy in the first place?"

I actually had the chance to hear him speak at a local TBer rally...IMHO he was above his skill level as a plumber's HELPER.
