The U.S. Senate has rejected President Barack Obama's plan to create millions of new jobs through government work programs and tax breaks for businesses.

Tuesday's vote was a procedural vote - called by Democrats to see whether the bill could be brought to a full debate and final consideration.

Earlier in the day, Mr. Obama called on lawmakers to "put country ahead of party" and pass the $447 billion jobs bill. He said Republican opponents will have a hard time explaining to voters why they rejected it.
Ha Ha
Let's see Obama blame the Republicans .. NOW!

This bill was NEVER about anything other than trying to make the Republicans look bad but .. It Backfired! BWAHHH

Wow. Seems like no one including Democrats want to be seen agreeing with him on policy matters.

Maybe its time the Democrats consider running someone in their primaries against him?

Or they could just give up and stay at home which is the most likely set of events that will occur.

The OWS'ers are going to go ballistic... If they didn't like hearing that corporations are people they're certainly not going to understand why their faithful CEO, Obama, failed at giving them a job too.

People in America aren't suffering. Children in Somalia suffer. People in America complain they don't have a big enough T.V., see the difference?

No, what is classy, is that obama blamed the repubs for not wanting to pass the bill...all the while, the dems were saying, they don't like it either....

That's classy...

But it is obvious that you will never blame the dems...that is also classy...
