Not sure what that is. A techincal skill you have that they need? No I don't have that but I have looked into an investors visa for the EU and you need about 1 Million Dollars ...liquid.
I'm in a long-term relationship with an EEA national, which would give me the right of residence in Norway. I wouldn't move there anyway, I'd move to Spain and acquire Spanish citizenship in 2 years, as opposed to 10 for everyone else, because I was born in Latin America and I don't have to give up my US citizenship like everyone else.

Just like when the liberals thought that Canada would take them in when Bush was re-elected. I'm thinking about only <1% of those hundreds of thousands of liberals that flooded Citizenship and Immigration Canada's website actually moved there

Why? The "teabagger" would have their rights restricted on the basis that they are not Muslim. Liberal retort /fail
Tell me about it after you've been there for a vacation. I've spent more time in Finland than Norway, to be sure, but it's not what you think it is.
The price of most things is guaranteed to pizz you off to a certain extent. I've never (NEVER) seen so many drunks in my life than in Finland. It's something to behold.
And lots of folks want out of the socialist paradise to get away from the burdensome taxes.
Lots of nice things about Scandinavia too, but my job right now is to steer you to a more realistic picture of the place.
Definitely go for a visit though!

The lack of sun and very cloudy weather would drive some people insane as well. If liberals complain about the cold and lack of sun in the Northeast, they won't survive in Scandinavia, which I believe is about as cloudy, or worse, than the British Isles

My Father was a VP at J Loritzen a Danish shipping/drilling company at the time. I've spent time in Sweden/Norway/Denmark.
The bottom line is these countries have the highest standard of living in the World, the most educated, the least corrupt, the happiest, the most press freedoms.
And I don't give a damn if the taxes are high or what it cost to live on....as long as you can live like that.

In the northern climes in winter (British Isles on up), the sun makes a little arc in the sky to say "hello" and then you're thrust back into darkness before you know it. Never mind that it's frickin' cold for months on end.
If you're used to the sun, you will miss it and probably get a tad depressed.
Summers are glorious though.

What press freedom do they have? Most countries do not have a free press like people believe, certainly nowhere in Europe. Even most of their press is corporate owned
