Where else have they murdered six million people? Hitler killed 6 million, and people can't stop talking about it 70 years later. Well, it is happening again, and you would not send 100 troops to stop it???? I do not think 100 troops are going to bankcupt the US, especially since we are pulling out of Iraq completely. To say we cannot afford it, is a very poor argument.
You have a point about excessive military spending, and I fully support closing most of US bases across the globe, and reducing military spending to about 50% of what it is now (that would bring us close to what we spent in year 2000) but this kind of thing is very low cost, and has potential for huge gains.
We are talking about sending 100 combat troops to fight a group with maybe a thousand or so members scattered all over the country, how are the LRA going to slaughter millions?
The question is: how will 100 troops stop the genocide.
What genocide, and by whom? Can you name anything within the last 2 years?
The National Resistance Army was renamed the Uganda People's Defence Force following the enactment of the 1995 Constitution of Uganda. UPDF's primary focus was the conflict with the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), a rebel group operating in the country's North which has been condemned by the UN and was designated a terrorist organization by the U.S. government in 2001. Since March 2002 UPDF has been granted permission to carry out operating against LRA bases across the border in the Sudan, and these raids, collectively known as Operation Iron Fist, have resulted in the repatriation of many abducted children being held by the rebels as child soldiers or sex slaves. However the LRA was totally defeated and pushed deep into the jungles of The Central Africa Republic and Congo.
The UPDF has also been the subject of controversy for having a minimum age for service of 13. Many international organizations have condemned this as being military use of children http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_of_Uganda

The African coalition will do the fighting, and we provide intel.
How are they going kill millions? Six million are already dead. They use guns and machetes, if you must know. Sometimes they burn people alive.
Do you know what "long sleeves or short sleeves" mean? They walk up to the kids in a village, and ask them if they like long sleeves or short sleeves. If the answer it "long sleeves", they take a machete and cut the kid's arm off between the wrist and the elbow. If they say "short sleeves", they cut it off between the elbow and the shoulder.

When and where did that happen? And where are you getting your figures of millions of LRA?
will he inform congress on this one or again disregard law
Maybe you need to read about " Lord's Resistance Army Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act", which passed Congress last year.
