Newt Gingrich would make an excellent President...but the media will never let him campaign on the issues because they would want to talk about nothing except his extramrital affairs and his past.
I like what Newt has to say and often; however, he is nothing like Ron Paul aside from being intellegent and having a cogent working knowledge of history. Newt is an establishment globalist who is not willing to adhere strictly to the US Constitution except when it serves his political cause. YMMV. That's my opionion, YMMV.
The thing I find refreshing about the former speaker is that he hasn't been attacking his opponents at the debates. He simply says what he believes. I agree however, that his past will probably preclude him from winning the nomination.
how about just being removed from ever holding public office....don't want to spend more $$ prosecuting these folks
Why when the dems get caught red handed do they always plead incompetence and why do their customized voting districts always find comfort in their representative's being unqualified, especially in economic matters?
Remember Dodd owned the legislation that the Treasury Dept inserted a clause to ensure the AIG folks were guaranteed their bonuses. Dodd, the owner, claimed he had no knowledge of hiow that got in his bill at the midnight hour before he admitted the next day it was Geitner's treasury dept that provided the ironclad staw dogs for Obama's class warfare strategy.
I have tons of friends, who live not only in my State of Ca, but many in the E.C. and the S. as well as the M.W. they each for their own reasons, Whether they are Dems or Repubs, are very much into Cain, and believe it or not, Newt. They like how Newt has been coming on in their opinion stronger, then some of the other candidates.
Look at this point anyone but Obama, for another 4 years of hell, would be a welcoming addition. He brought nothing new, as he promised, he has not brought us all together, as he promised he would, he is not different, and his cliche of Hope n' Change was a scam from the beginning.
I like Newt Gingrich. I think he is real like Ron Paul but he has too much negative baggage to be the nominee.
It seems to me that Newt is cribbing some of Ron Paul's positions to get political mileage. I doubt his sincerity.
