Very strange in this economy that a restaurant would shun a customer with cash.

I heard a story of some idiots at a store (I think it was Best Buy) calling the cops because they thought this guy was paying with counterfeit money since he handed over like twenty five $2 bills. And the cops then called Secret Service since they handle counterfeiting investigations.

I hope they were not related to me...

I gave 8 nieces and nephews each 25 two-dollar bills for Christmas...

Had to go through $600 worth to get $400 that were decent... some looked like rags or worse... the bad ones are the ones I'm spending and it has been interesting... today, someone asked me if I had any other money because they don't have a slot for $2 bills... I said to just put it under the drawer

Way off topic sidebar... Years ago I sold a truck for $1800 dollars. The old guy that lived down the street paid me cash... a thousand dollar bill, a five hundred dollar bill and 3 hundred dollar bills...

That was the only time I ever saw a thousand dollar bill...
