That's the superficial reason. They say stuff like that so they can cover their own tracks with false allegations to hide their own guilt. Will crime ever be solved so long as the usual suspects get rounded up forever? No, it will not. That's the plan. Nouveau riche have no incentive to see upward mobility for anyone else because their business model requires having a pyramid of peons beneath them. That's the real argument going on between libs and cons for a couple of centuries now.

The only welfare queens I've met personally were not middle class, but extreme poor and rich. Poor white women who, for religious justifications (southern baptist), demanded the community carry her around because working women= evil. Having job skills is a threat to your (potential) husbands esteem in this culture so pursuing education is considered poisonous. Rich welfare preys upon the government because they have contempt for making an honest living. That's the problem with inherited wealth & wrongfully promoted ambition desirous of a crown without the burden of responsibility. That's why red states have failed to thrive. A select few whales in ponds WANT it that way, no matter what the low income majority aspires.

That would be an improvement over his attempt to corrupt & divide against itself the Reform/Independence parties.
