I would think some one who loves the US flag so much would be able to identify a real one.
Why no anger at the person making cheap copies that anyone who has seen a real flag before wouldn't even confuse?
My buildings management is proudly patriotic, they have a flag being used as part of the entry way as a doormat. Should I turn them in to the flag police?
Half these loons most likely grew up with their parents disrespecting the flag, telling them to not say the pledge in grade school, told these losers how everything America does is wrong and evil and on and on. They are a product of the communist ifiltration of the 60's-70's. Can't really blame them as they know what they are taught when they're young. Some are smart enough to not listen. Others are happy living off mamma and poppa and getting a bump in their allowance for making them proud.
There is a world of difference in the reaction. Is anyone calling for jihad here against the man who is desecrating the flag? Seems like all he is receiving is scorn.

If you think walking on a flag is wrong, don't do it. But if someone else does it, how and why does that impact you? If I was in a position to do so, I wouldn't care whether I walked on a flag. My country is strong enough to tolerate a few footprints and a symbol IS just a symbol. Move along. Next.
But my how quickly people twist this into us vs. them thinking like in post 4. Why are there so many people for whom the creation of an enemy is a near daily occurrence? It's a difference of opinion, not a deliberate act of war.
I see that you know very little flag etiquette, from your words. There has been a pamphlet of flag etiquette available a lot longer than there have been protesters willing to walk on, defecate on and urinate on the flag. The pamphlet goes back beyond that kind of behavior.
That flag has a very wide middle red stripe so I think someone made it special to be walked on by cruds who are willing to do that. Has there ever been a demonstration like this one since the 1970s that a flag didn't get walked on?
Do you remember the wild progressives of the 1960s who wore the flag on the seat of their jeans so they could sit on it? Of course, that was done to show that etiquette with the flag was foolish. Progressives will change our flag once they have complete control of this country and I will gladly return the favor of walking on their flag.
