Nothing is going to change until the voters stop carrying water for either political party.
You have to start at the local level, town by town. You have to eliminate the "winner takes all" rules. Eliminate gerrymandered districts. Eliminate the notion that corporations are people. Candidates should only be allowed to accept a certain amount of money from individuals who reside in their city and/or state. That's it. No corporate donations, no PAC's, etc. Start at the bottom and move up.
Sadly, none of that is going to happen because too many voters have the attention span of gnats.
Or, letter Q, they don't believe we need to fundamentally transform America. I guess it's easier to just call them gnats though...

I see so many of these violent anarchists use the products of capitalism that it is hard to take them seriously.
Why are you bundling communism and socialism with anarchism? Anarchists are anti-statist and hate authoritarians. From what I see, most of the protesters hate that our government has been bought by banks and corporations. And, they hate that our government doesn't work for the People. Speaking up about those two things is noble in my eyes. It takes a great deal of courage and energy to do what these protesters are doing.

The Soviet Union collapsed for a reason; they hated capitalism.
The only reason China hasn't collapsed is because they embraced capitalism 20 years ago.

There is a vacuum of knowledge amongst many of today's conservatives that is being filled by revisionists like Glenn Beck, Jonah Goldberg and Pat Buchanan.
