Worst policy decision? I'd call it a tie between his choices to being the most intentionally divisive POTUS and choosing to be the Liar-in-Chief. Of course his choice of being a Marxist ideologue doesn't help either.
It's tough to pick but 'cash for clunkers' is my choice. Remember this was the program where you turned in your old car and got a big tax credit for buying a new one. The catch was that the old car had to be crushed; it could not be resold even if in perfect condition.
The idea that we can improve the economy by destroying valuable, useful assets takes the cake. I understand if you've got an old building, you've got to tear it down to put a new one up. But these cars could have been parted out or even shipped overseas.
The plan was supposed to benefit the automakers and it obviously did. The biggest gainer was Japanese company Toyota.
At the end of the day, most presidents will lead from the center, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
This is what many people can't or refuse to realize. The majority of the country is in in the middle, from center-left to center-right. President's almost always have to govern from the center.
I must have blinked when that happened, as his effort could not have lasted more than 1/2 a second. Last time I checked, calling republicans all kinds of horrible names, being divisive and telling them to sit in the back, along with telling people to get violent against their enemies is not a very good way to compromise.
I would say looking at the money he has raised,that the fat cats are supporting him,nothing good will come if re-elected.Maybe the same can be said on other side of the fence.Washington is 100 percent corrupt and local government not far behind.
