I agree with the bottom of your post, but on top point:
If we deported all illegal immigrants, put tariffs on foreign goods, (it would not work if we were export heavy as in WW2) ended the H1B Visa's, and some other things, we could "adjust" the free market to benefit the workers of the country. (Supply and Demand)
As it is now, it is the Government in collusion with / Wall Street / and Big Corporations that have tailored the free market to benefit them, and Obama is continuing down the same path (Mexican Truckers) since he is owned by them.
I think many supporting the status quo, secretly support many of Obama's policies, because it is more of the same all admins have been doing. They use "communist" and spreading the wealth talking points to divide and conquer when Obama is anything but, unless it is to his banker butt buddies.
Dont like the deport idea, I have found to many illegals to be good hard workers who bring out the American dream. They do real well in the education system because it is new to them and want as much Knowledgeas they can get. The Tariff Idea might start WW3 so thats out. Dodd-Frank has the adjustment needed but it needs to kick in.
The Govt needs to be responsive to the people so lets get the money out. Dont fall for the Repub. Politicians as they (Cantor) are trying to sound more moderate as there polls show they are losing.
Make sure that you follow the money as the TP groups have been co-opted by big money
Bring back the horse and buggy. Bring back the robber barons. Bring back sweat shops and get rid of those pesky child labor laws.
Really end the wars,get rid of subsidies, bring back Glass- spegal, stop the nonsence the states are doing and make real voteing reg., see there you go there are things people can agree too
When people can't find jobs, they find excuses. First, government corruption; then corporate crime; possibly, schooling inadequacy; ultimately, it'll be found with themselves.
So, the revolving door between Goldman Sachs and the White House has had no effect on the policies of robbing the taxpayer and giving the money to the Banks.
The hundreds of billions of dollars shoveled into politician’s campaigns by corporations demanding legislation that benefits them at the expense of taxpayers is not happening... Right?
The system is corrupt, and the people are angry. I would not want to be a politician or a banker in this environment.
As far as the people who refuse to admit it, they are probably benefiting from the status quo, and would like to see it continue.
Fortunately this will all take care of itself when some investors realize the casino is broke and withdraw their money while it is still worth something. Then the financial system will collapse in a manner that will make the 1930's great depression seem like a mild setback. This will not just be a depression in North America and Europe it will take down the entire world.
