Poor guy. He's completely disilliusioned now. He thought this movement was about people caring about each other. He didn't realize they only want other people to give them stuff, not actually help each other. He can't even get some spare change for bus fare to dialysis:

Quote:
"I have to go to dialysis in Marietta. I've been walking around asking people to help me get bus fare to get to dialysis, but no one will help me," he said. Davis said he felt betrayed by fellow campers who refuse to help when he thought the whole point of Occupy Atlanta was to come together to help each other.
Now if he'd made a sign saying the bus should be free, they'd all jump behind and him and cheer. But ask them to ante up $2.50 from their own pockets? Hell no man, you're on your own.

The proof of the pudding is in it's taste.

The dear boy is finding out what these people are truly made of.

He would have been better off asking the anti-OWS people. I'm sure they would have been happy to help him out.

He should have lied and said he needed the money to buy a poster board and magic marker to make an anti-semite sign.

You hit the nail on the head. Best post for accuracy, truly stated.

These people are not made of any substance, no substance at all. Their true colors are revealed.

Wow, you guys are so quick to believe the smallest morsel that could possibly reflect badly on OWS protests. Scary.

Well what did he expect? Their liberal generosity was missing its most vital component, other people's money.

The "Takers" don't want to be "Givers"... even to their own rank and file.
