Well it was also on foreign sites. But those figures were around 30-50K and by the end of the year.

I was going to say... does Greece even have that many government workers? If so, they should be hundreds of billions in debt...

40% of Greece's GDP is public sector. I wouldn't be surprised. Friend is stationed in Crete and heard this from what he believes is a reliable source.

Greece has to sell of state assets, shrink their public workforce, and raise taxes. They bit off more than they can chew and now it's time to deal with the mess they created.

I think you are wrong, their entire economy will collapse first. But I guess what we disagree on is moot. They are toast. Sooner, later, whenever.

If that happens, can't see much being left of their infrastructure. I think those that have been riding the gravy train will burn her down.
