Henrik Fisker said the U.S. money so far has been spent on engineering and design work that stayed in the U.S., not on the 500 manufacturing jobs that went to a rural Finnish firm, Valmet Automotive.
Ooooops!
Undoubtably the OP is using this just another bash Obama opportunity, but the fact is this is just ridiculous. I am sure that Obama does not approve all of these individual loans, but he is responsible. Whomever approved that loan Obama should fire on the spot, and there should be an investigation. The loan agreement should have the same boilerplate wording that all production has to be in the United States.

This is obama's GREEN agenda and payback for his bundlers and fund raisers. This is the NORM for these people.
When will you understand this is what the Left is into - making really bad bets with other peoples money.
Ridiculous? Did you read the LONG ABC news investigation?

Obama doesn't care. It's other people's money. No loss.

Why does "The buck stops here" not apply to obama?

.... but not until you take off those rose colored, partisan glasses.
The Fisker Karma model has long been planned for manufacture in Finland. The bulk of the US loans was for their Nina project for a car less expensive than the Karma, which is planned to be built in Delaware. It's no sudden or surprise news that the Karma is being built in Finland.
Fisker spokesperson Roger Ormisher clarified the situation to FoxNews.com, saying that the start of pre-production for the Nina remains on track for late 2012, but deliveries of the car to customers won’t begin until mid-2013 when the assembly plant is fully on line, and that this has always been the plan. The $47,500 compact sports sedan is being produced at a former General Motors facility in Wilmington.
The Karma is currently built for Fisker in Finland by automotive supplier Valmet. Fisker plans to sell 15,000 of the vehicles worldwide each year, and has previously indicated that it could move production to Delaware when it is redesigned for the 2016 model year.
