Seems there are many on here that say those that support the protests, or, they are one of the protesters are communists.

So, lets see what the poll for this board reveals.

This push to relate OWS protestors as communists or socialist is nothing more than McCarthyism. Keep in mind that it was the CAPITALIST that were in charge when the economy hit bottom. The capitalist continue to post profits on Wall St while Main St goes hungry, homes are foreclosed, and people have to hope to find a decent job where there are none. I believe what we are seeing is the PR folks working for the top dogs like the Koch bothers trying to discredit the protest. This attack on Americans exercising their rights is the most anti-American action I have ever seen.

You must be pretty young, then... or have a very warped sense of what is and isn't "anti-American."

Yep, there is a fight going on, on many forums where they are trying to turn it into a communist, socialist blah blah blah movement, when the intention is to discredit it.

Those against it mostly support crony capitalism and the status quo.

They really don't believe in an open and free capital markets but only give lip service to it.

I'm sure there are some communist sympathizers there, but the majority of people I have talked to want an end to the corruption and those are the people I STAND WITH!

It must just burn some people up that are fine with the status quo that can't pigeon hole all of us into one big label.
