The killing of Gadhafi (and bin Laden) certainly is a glaring example of the excellence that this President stands for. Under President Obama, terrorists are dropping like flies without the heavy, wasteful, ineffective military commitment that the far dumber Bush employed. With Republicans and Bush no longer at the helm, we are no longer engaged in wasteful, ineffective Neanderthal diplomacy and foreign policy. President Obama has put in place a smarter, more effective administration. When not hampered by the very sorry Republican members of Congress, it is highly effective. This is clear. Pubs continue to stagger around with egg on their faces.

Kudos to this great President Obama. We're fortunate that we have him until 2016.
The new era of war with 0bama, ain't it wonderful? In this new era, there is no need to discuss the prospect of going to war with the American people or congress anymore. No need to justify a national security concern with congress, no need for messy congressional authorizations. You don't need a real plan, and you don't need to worry about what happens after you break the country and unlock Pandora's box either, just wing it, it's the new hopey changey way of conducting war.

Just pick a country with a government you don't like, incite the angry masses of its citizens, let them crush kill and destroy, while sending aircraft to carpet bomb a nice clean path in front of them. Looks really great from 20,000 feet up, cuz no one is dying, and it's really, really cheap too, just ask Joe Biden.

Do you mean like the carefully crafted response to Syria's "Arab Spring". Three thousand dead so far and the only thing the UN and Obama can do is utter "Stop it!"

The ends justify the means, eh? Shall we toss the Geneva Conventions in the trash bin while we are at it? This new era of war under 0bama is a throwback to the old days, no rules, no worries, just find someone you don't like, point and shoot, and sort it all out later. Quick, simple and cheap, no disputing that.

What worked?

Doing what Cameron and Sarkozy told us to do to protect their oil supplies?

What was the eminent threat to the US?

Three years into the presidency and he's still voting "present".

Yes, President Obama uses brain; Bush used bravado (at the cost of countless lives - American and coalition troops, as well as innocent Iraqis). Personally, rather than the title of "former president," I think the title of "murderer" is much more appropriate.

Remember, not a single American lost their life in the killing of OBL, the other terrorist dude (whose name escapes me at the moment), and Qaddafi, all done in less than six months.

Was the US particularly worried about FDR or future presidents being assassinated because of our support of liberated Italians who executed Mussolini and strung his body up in the street?
