Catholics are a weird breed, politically speaking. Although they are often times very socially conservative, they can also be just as fiscally liberal. Even Joe Biden, a Democrat and the first Roman Catholic VP, has more conservative views on abortion than most others in his party. As a Matter of Faith, Biden Says Life Begins at Conception - NYTimes.com

Catholics are slipt between the parties, it seems.
Pro-Life
Pro-Traditional Marriage
Anti-Assisted Suicide

But,
Anti-War
Anti-Death Penalty
Pro-Social Justice
Even a little earth friendly - Vatican announces plans to become first "carbon neutral state" in the world :: Catholic News Agency (CNA)

JFK is the only Catholic President, and we may not have another for a long time. But if/when we do, we he/she be more likely to be liberal or conservative?

He/she didn't say the president had to be catholic. It is just a general question as to IF a future president is catholic, will they me more liberal or conservative?

The Church isn't anti-war nor anti-death penalty.

Will the next Catholic President be conservative or liberal?

I can't answer that one, but rest assured, conservative or liberal, he or she will most likely be 100% hypocrite

Governor Bob McDonnell's name gets thrown around some as "future presidential material" and he's conservative Roman Catholic.

OK, now you're just making things up. The Catholic Church is very anti-death penalty.
