Spinning again..

Where does it say in Wong Kim Ark v The United States WKA was affirmed a citizen? It does not.

You spin Minor v Happersett and you spin WKA. It is getting old.

"Upon the facts agreed in this case, the American citizenship which Wong Kim Ark acquired by birth within the United States has not been lost or taken away by anything happening since his birth."

Right there.

They are identical in these ways:

1) Citizenship at birth is automatic.
No. Try reading comprehension for a change :

US State Department Services Dual Nationality

"may" ...it's not a sure thing.

No. There was never any requirement for British or U.K. citizens who automatically became such to document or register their citizenship.

Actually, citizenship at birth is not automatic in many nations. It can be inherited from the parents instead.

That is just cretinous.

Are you actually asserting that a total stranger can arrive at a British airport, declare they are a British citizen, and not have to document it?

Really?

Come on IC. Where in the Minor ruling does it ever call Virginia Minor a natural born citizen?

Depends... If they want a British passport, no. But the same is true of U.S. citizens. They, too, must provide documentation to acquire a U.S. passport. Not all citizens want or need passports, however.

Does she fit the criteria of the only SCOTUS definition of Constitutional NBC which is acknowledged by the Wong Kim Ark decision?

Yes.

Lets clear up all the mud being spread around in this forum by the Obots.

In Minor v Happersett the unanimous court defined a natural born citizen as those who are born on US soil to citizen parents. The persons not born to citizen parents were characterized by the court as foreigners that might be citizens. These foreigners citizenship need to be resolved. Those born in the US to citizen parents nothing needs to be resolved.

There was no dissent in the Minor decision.
