Jay's letter, the originating source of the NBC clause, precludes foreign influence, not alien influence. You're off track.

Again, which law exactly states that those born foreign citizens are natural born U.S. citizens?

2. a person who commits treason by betraying his or her country.

Betray
  • Be disloyal to: "he betrayed them".
  • Be disloyal to (one's country, organization, or ideology) by acting in the interests of an enemy.

Allegiance
1. the loyalty of a citizen to his or her government or of a subject to his or her sovereign.
2. loyalty or devotion to some person, group, cause, or the like.

A traitor is someone who betrays his country (by joining the enemy or benefiting our enemy); Some who betrays has no loyalty to our country; allegiance requires LOYALTY.

It does if one was BORN a foreign citizen.

They are the highest executive authority on the planet tasked to determine who is or is not a US citizen. They are the ultimate in "expert witnesses" and as such require no supporting evidence in the absence of any challenge.

Denying allegations are testimony. And in several different places, they testified that:

To the extent this paragraph alleges that President Obama is not a natural-born citizen of the United States, that allegation is denied.
That is affirmative testimony to his status as a natural born US citizen.

Which country would that be? Which country refuses to recognize the citizenship of its own citizens' children merely due to birth abroad?

...And yet the best they could do is deny allegations while providing NO supporting evidence whatsoever.

Wrong again, Ranger. The originating source of the NBC clause is the prior three centuries of British Common Law from which the term derives as a specific and unambiguous term of art.

Dumb question. Only some born foreign citizens are natural born US citizens. Those would be "All persons born ... in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof."

If you don't recognize it, that's the 14th Amendment.

And as several Supreme Court decisions have noted, the 14th Amendment merely affirms the law in place under the original Constitution.

I'm quite sure they could do more. But that's all that was necessary.

well right off the top of my head we know that the US had age requirements for the mother of births abroad in 1961.
