The sane freethinking population has long since accepted this reality. I have little hope that this or any study will change the minds of the easily persuaded, profoundly deluded amongst us that rely on radio/TV hosts to craft their opinions on things that are scientific. I just hope the numbers of those deluded by foolsihness continues to dwindle so we can one day start to clean up our planet so it will be inhabitable for future generations.
So let me see if I have this straight. The planet is 4.6 billion years old. The climate and temperature has remained the same with absolutely no fluctuations for 4.6 billion years. But because of human activities, temperatures have increased by 1.6 degrees in the last 111 years.
What were the temperature flucuations on the planet when there were no humans and ice was a mile thick over New York City or when the Sahara desert was lush tropical vegetation?
Just another scam to get more money out of the pockets of U.S.tax payers.
Over the past 70 years, the team found that about one-third of the measuring stations in its global sample indicated cooling trends. Two-thirds showed warming trends, with warm regions more than offsetting cool regions in developing a global average.
When 1/3 of your stations show a cooling trend, and 2/3 show a warming trend...it sounds more like weather than climate change. Is data with that kind of variation statisticaly significant?

A new climate study shows that since the mid-1950s, global average temperatures over land have risen by 0.9 degrees Celsius (1.6 degrees Fahrenheit), confirming previous studies that have found a climate that has been warming – in fits and starts – since around 1900.
The global temperature has been warming-in fits and starts-since the last ice age. Was that due to the industrial revolution?
Quote:
Most climate scientists attribute warming since the mid-1950, at least to some degree, to carbon dioxide emissions from human activities – burning coal, oil, and to a lesser extent gas, and from land-use changes.
"most" means >50%...real overwhelming proof there
"at least to some degree"...what degree? How much is due to CO2 emissions vs solar activity or some other unidentified cause?
These sound more like weathermen who cover there butts with platitudes....sunny with clouds and chance of rain. Yep, real firm prediction right there.
So how did they arrive at the conclusion of "increased warming over land" ? Does this mean that only the land warmed up, or the atmosphere above the land? This is more Kilimanjaro is gonna melt hysteria
