The jobs bill would focus for a short time on funding states ... and allowing states and municipalities to fund jobs. Most of them are irresponsible and over their heads in retirement commitments.
Cities have to learn how to fund themselves. Many city employees with a conscience would probably do their jobs without the overseeing unions which have broken city budgets. The culture of union bastioning (over windfalling their shoebox with cash) has screwed the citizenry. Even to the point where Democrats push, and get away with trillion dollar bills, with the point that neighbors won't help each other UNLESS taxpayers blow imaginable amounts of money. It never gets better when we flush money down the toilet.
