Mohmar could've been killing people by the dozens, raping children on a regular basis, and who knows what else. That all would've been fine if he played ball financially. What happened to him is what happens when you don't. You end up like JFK.

And the IMF has already visited once and is going back again to "help" them.
So a central bank and a national oil company formed by "rebels" back in March 2011.
2 months later Obama makes the call, Congress does NOTHING and we spend 5 months chasing him down with drones.

I stopped watching that piece of rubbish when it got to Lockerbie.
Do you have any knowledge as to how countries where the population is made up of tribes? These countries function on tribal mentality and ritual.
Ghaddafi came to power through a military coup. This was one tribe against another tribe. In a country which is made up of various tribes, and you want to retain power, you take care of the tribes. For your own tribe, you get loyalty, from other tribes you get what you hope is peace for as long as you are in power. And when you are sitting on a tremendous amount of oil, you can take care of the people very well. That's why he lasted as long as he did. His mistake was educating people. Many people who left for an education outside of Libya remained out of the country because of the suppression. Many returned during the revolution and I'm sure many will continue to return - to be part of a country that is free to practice democracy. But don't get me wrong, the tribal mentality will still exist. It's something that has been instilled in them from a very early age.
Gaddafi was a good leader, good for his people. He knew too much, didn't play ball with the IMF and let them come in and steal his resources and back door take over power. He was a threat to the crooked system, and portrayed as a bad man in our media who supports this evil system. Once again Majority of American opinion swayed through our crooked Media with lies, half truths, and a hidden agenda to promote.

Reason: off topic
I believe the innocent victims who were murdered by him, would agree that he is a bad man, and the families, effected by his regime would agree.
However there are many ohter bad Men out there in many other Countries, are we going to seek and destroy all bad men in every Country they reside in.
What about fixing our broken borders, and fixing what is wrong in this Country, before trying to fix what is broken in other parts of the world.
There just might be some truth to the NWO conspiracy.
We're taking out leaders we put in place who, for one reason or another, decided not to play nice with us anymore and do our bidding.
Why do you think they rebelled against him, and why do you think Gadaffi was in process of wiping out the people who belonged to the wrong tribes? Gadaffi stayed in power by playing the tribes against each other, some liked him, because he gave them what they wanted, and the rest hated him.
