In that respect, pay me 1 million dollars a year to tell kids to wear condoms when they have sex... money well spent!

I dunno. How's about the health dept just order condoms and have them shipped to each schools' Nurse and let her "coordinate".

That would save $88K plus benefits. Why do you need a coordinator ?

More modern sexual interferance from the liberal left - take into consideration that some loser adults..live vacariously through children and immature adults - sex is private...and the state has no business in the lives of young people in this way. Let the adults that seem to want to sexually interfere with youth - to concentrate on their OWN sex lives and leave the kids alone.

During the interview process ( overseen by the union ) this applicant mother would clearly be in the top three.

Raises would be in order over the next several years.

One would think.

Gotta say, my first reaction was only $88K? In NYC?

I'm not going to get into the whole abstinence and abortion debate. I will say that I don't see a problem with keeping schools stocked with condoms to prevent unwanted teen pregancy. BUt do they really need a $88K per year + benefits + pensions coordinator? Why can't they just have the current NYC public school procurement manager do some calculations and figure out how many condoms each school will need and then ship it to them?
