How soon so many reactionaries on this board are willing to forget the deaths of Sgt James E. Goins and Kenneth T Ford along with the wounding of 79 other U.S. servicemen in the 1986 bombing of the La Belle disco in West Berlin or the 270 people including 178 Americans killed at the behest of the "secular" dictator of Libya, the late Mr. Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi for no other reason than to find something to poke a stick at Obama with.
If anything demonstrates the morbidity of Obama Derangement Syndrome (ODS) one need not look any further than the host of Gaddafi pity parties being written on the pages of City-Data. A truly appalling spectacle.

I remember those events, but when a man is violently tortured, abused and killed by a pack of animals, it is never a call for celebration, regardless of how atrocious his acts were.

This thread isn't about the treatment that was handed out by "his" people. While tragic it ain't my concern but rather the argument that the disposition of Gaddafi was some tragic mistake of nearsighted foreign policy; poor Mummar the defender of secularism who wasn't really a bad guy just misunderstood threads.

Why do you assume anyone forgot? Oddly enough the left used to be for justice and trials. Apparently not so much since Obama became the Warmonger in Chief. Moral relativism is such a nasty character trait.
