No one is forcing you do anything. My life goes on with all of the myriad appreciations going on. Strangely.....I don't feel impeded by them. Oh, well, sometimes I get really livid being forced to look at all that pink packaging for breast cancer awareness.........

Nothing because schools don't do much for it. Your small mind doesn't have to be scaredy-scaredy now.

I bet they will. I was forced well at least they tried to force me to read some garbage by the communist W.E.B. Dubois during middle school. No wonder I failed guess they didn't like my answer. Same reason I failed a particular english class when we had to read,do essay, and watch the anne frank book and movie....talk about dull! Anyways I am involved with my child's learning so I will ask before February. I asked if they did anything for Thanksgiving and Halloween but they don't. Good to see times have changed for the better somewhat.

As a parent who has lost a child I find that smart azz remark offending, having a child pass away is nothing like Homo History month, real classy.

See that's kind of like the gay "marriage" thing.
Marriage is between one man and one woman,
but if I don't want to acknowledge that anything else is "marriage"
you'd call me closed-minded, bigoted, etc.

Not that sticks, stones, names, etc really bother me,
but to the gay activists on C-D,
everyone must acknowledge it
must support it
must put an end to the imaginary, victim-mentality "hatred"
or be called names, as if we are in middle school. Very telling, really.

How was that a "smart azz" remark? Are you sure you're not just finding a reason to be offended because you have no valid argument?

I don't know why this is such a mystery for some.
Can you read minds? I say no you can't and everybody looks at love in a different way, you really can't know how others feel.

It's way more on-topic that Miscarriage Awareness Month, but you brought that up anyway.

Who besides the state (which are human beings and paper, that are susceptible to change) determined marriage is between a man and a woman?
