I actually kind of like Joe Scarborough - which is saying something because I normally don't like republicans.

Happy to see Ed Schultz and Lawrence O'Donnell switch time slots last night, Schultz is on at
8pm eastern now instead of 10pm.

Doesn't matter. They still suck in the ratings...because people just don't want to listen to the far left bile that panders to the fringe of society.

The kind of people who agree ideologically with msnbc tend to have better things to do than watch cable news all evening. Plus, msnbc sucks, as the thread title says.

Fox News kills in the ratings because it's the default channel in nursing homes and car dealer service department waiting rooms. At any rate ratings are a relative thing. Reruns of Spongebob and wrestling get double their numbers in viewership.

The fact is many on the elft watch Fox even if they don't like their viewpoint. But you'll get debate and get guests on who represent them whereas with MSNBC you get yellow journalism and unprofessional hosts that don't seem to care what they do. Sure, the most undisciminating on the farthest fringe will eat that drivel up but who really cares what they think? You think advertisers are out for the burnouts and anarchists business?
