The Presidency isn't a joke. And yes I actually like Obama, but I don't want to see him on shows like Letterman and Leno while he is still in office. It is disingenuous and classless. This man is leader of the free world. There should be certain venues beneath himself and the office that he holds. You never saw a sitting president on the Tonight Show when Carson was around!

People don't watch shows like Meet the Press and Face the Nation as much as they used to so why it is such a big shocking deal when a president picks a talk show to go on when he/she is trying to sell something to the public (like the Jobs Act)? It's going to happen more and more with future presidents....unless we want them to go back to sending telegraphs to the local newspapers all over the country. Times change. Deal with it.

Presidents aren't robots. They are people with interests, hobbies, and they like to sit back and have a laugh, too.

Why in the heck did the former sitting president go to a birthday party for John McCain when NOLA was drowning?

Maybe he came up with more special Olympic jokes?

Maybe he came up with some more shovel ready jobs jokes?

Maybe he's rehearsing as a sidekick....he'll need a job next year.
