He is the only sitting US President that has done this. This is his 2nd appearance on The Tonight Show since being POTUS, and he has gone on other talk shows.

IMO it is distasteful to have a sitting President going on talk shows.

All the chairs should be removed to ensure that he is standing, not sitting, the retain the integrity of the position.

It's a new world. The tube must be fed. If you could get a puff interview and look good in front of millions for free wouldn't you take it as a politician?

Presidential? That's a moving target.

What's new about it?

Clinton didn't go talk shows, Bush didn't do it.

Presidents should be on TV to address the nation not to go on talk shows like they're a celebrity.

Nero fiddles while Rome burns.

Try looking at one of the other 4 threads where this has been discussed.
Bush was on deal or no deal, etc.
Nixon on laugh in.
Reagan on something else.

What's your point?

Millions of unemployed Americans, a weak U.S. economy, and a tough job market that will not stop President Obama from...

The Community Organizer in Chief never wanted to be President - He just wants to be a rock star! POTUS is just a way to get the lifestyle as he has no discernable singing (or any other) talent. I'm sure after he's out of office (can't happen soon enough) that Michelle will have her own show on the Oprah Channel. Maybe Barry will be leading the band there?
