The only flag that should be respected is the Jolly Roger!
Too bad you have no integrity because if you did , you would see the value of the symbol of this nation , the American Flag , also the symbol of people who loved this country enough to die for it.

More like the men and women of the country who have given their lives so that you may hatefully have the right to burn and tear up the symbol they die for

Sure it is, unless it's made out of something else. It has no more meaning beyond that except that which we give it.

The American Flag is the symbol of the men and women who served this nation to keep us free from tyrants and communist dictators.

That a very narrow and limited interpretation of its symbology, but it does give the rest of us an insight into your mindset.

We live in a society that gives us human rights .

And one of those rights is to express our displeasure with our government and country, including the desecration of symbols associated with them.

Quote:
Many have given their lives for our freedom against those who wanted to rule the world such as Hitler for one.
Many have lost the respect of this nation because the socialists and communists have infiltrated into the masses and taken their minds and hearts to say that the American Flag is just a piece of cloth.
You are very confused if you think this is all about "socialists and communists."

Doesn't seem that they are looking very hard. Seems a lot more fun to blame everyone else. It's probably alot more fun to camp out, for a month or 2 while having pleasure parties, and burning stuff, and test their acting skills.

There are plenty of jobs out there.
If a person has to work 2-3 low paying jobs then they should do it, a lot of people are doing that right now to the pay bills, no protesting needed.

But Eh It's Easier To Blame Everyone else.
I've seen signs "Working Is Un-Natural".. I have doubts some of these people actually want to work.

They are Attention Whores..

Too bad you lack the integrity and insight to understand that burning a flag in protest is upholding the very values that the flag symbolizes.

yes, freedom to have no soul or loyalty. they are like the dog chewing the flag... they are like a dog with no direction or understanding of what the flag represents.. they have a right to be clueless.

How do you know?

How do you know whether some of them have jobs, but are just people concerned about what they see as a fundamentally unfair system where the banks get bailouts and working people get screwed?

Like the people actually responsible for the economic crash that led to massive unemployment?

I think that you are either ignoring their message, or just don't care that they actually have one.

I'm about to lay off about a dozen people. Tell that to them.

And some can't, for a variety of reasons, and others find that this is an unreasonable way to have to live just because someone who is so rich they can live off interest the rest of their lives is too selfish to pick up more of the tax burden to save the whole country.

It's especialy easy when it's them that have a large share of the blame.

That person probably does not, but it is silly for you to attribute one sign to everyone.
